Retirement can be so great when done right. It’s a time to enjoy all the things you love in life, like family, friends, travel, hobbies, basically, it should be a time to do whatever you want to do. But there’s always that one concern that comes up in almost every conversation with pre-retirees. It’s the concern of running out of money during retirement.

Unfortunately those people who have this concern aren’t just being overly cautious; they’re probably just overly educated about current statistics. Because sadly, running out of money in retirement is a real threat to a large number of people. This is in part because we are living longer and also in part because the cost of medical care is on the rise big time.

Another concern is the continual rise in the costs of doing the things we love to do, like travel or taking in more shows or great restaurants.

And of course there is the major challenge of knowing how to manage our assets for income that will provide us that ideal retirement lifestyle we’ve been looking forward to. Plus allow you maintain some growth to help minimize the risk of running out of money.
