Barry Franklin

Sadly, we all have an expiration date. Since none of us knows when that is, it’s important to be prepared for anything. Ben Franklin got it right when he said “Failing to plan is planning to fail.” And he was a very successful man.

To many it’s exasperating that the rules and regulations of our income tax system are constantly changing. In efforts to simplify, our government continues to make it harder for taxpayers to comply and properly prepare their income tax returns. I know. I’ve been in this business for 24 years and I am working harder than ever to keep up with it all. The rules and regulations can be confusing, making it increasingly difficult to make sure that we have claimed all allowable deductions and credits and correctly computed our returns.

The best way to help ensure you are not paying more than your fair share is to start with understanding the rules and get a little more educated about your income taxes. For the last several years, multiple changes and tax deductions and credit extenders have been passed by the government. Are your aware of how these changes affect you? You can’t rely on the online tax preparation software or even the preparer you pay to always know all the answers or to be able to explain the rules to you, so it may benefit you to get educated and be aware.

If you are confused or are looking to be educated, this site is for you. It can help you clear up some of the mysteries of our taxing system.

That’s why there are videos to watch, articles to read and calculators to use. You can take the mystery out of not knowing if you will owe at the end of the year or the government is getting an interest free loan from you.

And finally; you’re not stuck to figure it out all on your own. If you have a specific question, you can schedule a FREE 15 minute call with me, or any of the other sponsors to ask those most pressing questions. It’s almost silly not to take advantage of this to ensure your making the right decisions for you and your family. Just remember; we’re here to help!
